NWTKD Festival Junior: March 22, 2025 Hosted by Taekwondo Way

Obstacle Course - Board Breaking - Curriculum Competition - Speed Kick Challenge - Taekwondo Demonstration!

The Northwest Taekwondo Festival Junior is a tournament for students ages 4-5 years old. Students will watch an exciting demonstration, compete in a speed kick challenge, race through an obstacle course, participate in a friendly curriculum competition that includes forms, board breaking, & basic movements. Instructors will be on hand to help guide the students during the competition.

For the curriculum competition students will be judged on focus, kihap, enthusiasm, body control, and accuracy. Students will be divided into competition groups of similar age and level. Every student will earn a medal, but one student from each group will earn a 1st place medal.

For the obstacle course, students must cleanly complete each obstacle before crossing the finish line and breaking a board. Students will be in competition groups of 4 students of similar age and level. 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd place medals awarded for each group. 

For the speed kick competition there will only be one winner per age group, and they will receive a special prize!

Day: Saturday, March 22

Time: 10am-2pm (Once registration has closed a detailed session schedule will be emailed out.)
